Meet Dr. Kim Rosen

Dr. Kim Rosen

I’ve spent over 20 years in my profession and I still love it! I enjoy helping people, discovering their personalities and hearing their stories. Coming to my office is a joy each and every day!

Education and Continuing Education

I started my career in medicine at California State University, Northridge earning a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science. After graduating in 1987, I moved to San Francisco to attend the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. At the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry is where I joined the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association, before graduating in 1990 with a Doctorate in Dental Science. From 1990 to 1991, I performed my General Practice Residency in Hospital Dentistry at UCLA.

Part of my responsibility as a dentist is to attend courses in continuing education in order to ensure that my patients are receiving the absolute best services available. I find these seminars very fun and exciting! I am always learning something new, and enjoy change and progressing my practice forward into the future of dentistry.

As part of my continuing education, I completed a 2 year mini orthodontic residency and am now a Preferred Provider for Invisalign. I am presently working to become Board Certified in Esthetic Injectables; i.e. Botox and facial fillers.

In the Practice

I love dentistry because I find that people are unique and exciting. I love their individual idiosyncrasies and hearing about their families and dreams. I also enjoy the second family of my team. I appreciate the individuality that each member of my staff brings to the table to form a great cohesive working team. The sheer volume and quality of work that we can get done together is amazing.

My team is fabulous. Each in their own right is very talented, hard working and totally focused on what’s best for their patients and our practice. We strive to make each person happy and comfortable while visiting us!

Family and Community

I have lived in the Santa Clarita Valley for over 20 years, and all of my children were born here. I love our community and am proud to call the Santa Clarita Valley my home. My husband, David, and I have been married for over 20 years, and we have three beautiful children. Zach is at Cal Berkeley in the Haas Business School, Sami is attending the University of Florida studying Criminology, and Jacob is at West Ranch High School. All my kids attended public school in SCV. Our family also includes Kibby and Gonif, our 90 lb Rhodesian ridgebacks, who love to play and go for walks.

I am proud to be involved with our community. We support all the kid’s programs in our valley from music & show choir to sports and competitions. We donate regularly to Operation Gratitude for our Troops over Seas, to our Missionary groups helping those in need. I have donated generously to the Betty Ferguson Foundation. I also participate in giving back to the community by volunteering my services to RAM/LA and The Modern House Call for Women and at our local shelter. In my spare time, you can usually find me cooking, scrapbooking, wine tasting, hiking, or my absolute favorite, reading! I always have a book in my hands!
